Where It Started
Glow Collectively was born out of frustration — and frankly, a lot of wasted money.
The founder behind this platform lives with a rare chronic inflammatory skin condition that makes choosing skincare products far more complicated than it sounds. Certain emulsifiers trigger flares. Common preservatives cause reactions. Fragrance — even "natural" fragrance — is completely off the table. What works beautifully for most people can, within 24 hours, send things in the completely wrong direction.
Navigating the skincare market with that kind of constraint is exhausting. Product descriptions are vague. Ingredient lists are buried in fine print. "Dermatologist tested" means almost nothing without context. And the sheer volume of products available — across dozens of retailers, brands, and price points — makes it nearly impossible to know where to even begin.
